About You	:	Eduardo “Bijoux” Barbosa was born in Sao Paulo-Brazil where he studied music theory and electric bass with Prof. Nadir Dos Santos from 1982-1986. In Brazil he played with pop bands and Jazz Fusion oriented bands. In 1991, he moved to Caracas, Venezuela, where he worked with many well known artists. In addition to studying Latin music, Bijoux studied doublebass with Carlos Verenzuela, principal double bass of Orquestra Synfonica de Venezuela from 1991 – 1995. In 1997, Bijoux moved to Denver. Since arriving in Denver, he has been very busy performing both on doublebass and electric bass. Bijoux is one of the top studio musicians in Colorado, and can be heard on over 300 recordings. Bijoux has studied doublebass in Colorado with Michael Fitzmaurice, assistant principal of Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra from 2002 to the present.
