This is a modest, three-camera capture (two unattended) of a concert performance from IBIS: A Chamber Music Society on May 16, 2010 at Resurrection Lutheran Church in Arlington, Virginia. It is the Octet for Strings, op. 20, composed in 1825 at the age of sixteen by Felix Mendelssohn (1809-1847). The musicians are: Amy Ward Butler, cello; Chiara Dieguez, viola; Joel Fuller, violin; Joseph Scheer, violin; Eric Lee, violin; Kerry Van Laanen, cello; Susan Midkiff, violin; and Ruth Schaaf, viola.
